The Krewe of Krampus took to the streets of Bywater to present their annual Krampus NOLAuf parade on Saturday evening. The Krewe takes its inspiration from the Central European legend of the Krampus, the part goat, part demon creature who tags along with St. Nicholas in early December to help determine who has been naughty. The Krewe celebrated Krampusnacht with a mischievous parade which began at Parleaux Beer Lab on Royal Street and made its way to Bratz Y’All! Bistro Bakery Biergarten. The parade featured several groups, including the Pony Girls, the Frau! witches, The Y’ules, Skinz N Bonez, The Sisters of SHH, the Crescent City Fae and of course the Krampus themselves who gazed into the crowd to find out who has been naughty and handed a lump of coal to the lucky few.
