Orlando is a city that never sleeps. Parks open early. Many things close late. There is one thing you need in order to get the energy for the big day in this city: breakfast.
No need to waste time searching for the perfect breakfast place in Orlando anymore. All of the locations I have chosen are family-owned and local for many reasons, but it all boils down to one reason: authenticity. Corporate restaurants use packages and frozen foods to make food. Local restaurants will offer more fresh food made with integrity and actual whole foods and spices. It is simultaneously healthier and more delectable. Also, it is a lot more adventurous.
240 Rose (The Winter Park)
This is a nice place to go when you have a lot of people with different tastes. They have eggs Benedict, croissant breakfast sandwiches, fruits, fries, breakfast platters and more. Once you order your food, you can let your eyes wander around the marvelous floral decor. There is rose-wall, and other floral decorations that keep you in a zen mood.
Stardust Video and Coffee (Winter Park)
Be ready to be wowed by the interesting decor at this coffee shop. Whimsical paintings are scattered throughout the restaurant. It looks like someone went to a yard sale for the decor. Besides the cool indie vibes, they offer satisfying breakfast options as well. They have big waffles and vegan options. Since this is a coffee shop, you can order creative lattes and matcha. They have a long list of tea options for those non-caffeine drinkers.
New York Bagels (Deland)
This bagel place is located in the historic downtown of Deland. There are many interesting independent book stores and boutiques. After walking a lot, hunger may strike. Also, a nice filling breakfast bagel sandwich is the perfect meal to start your adventure in the Orlando area. These bagels are authentic NY bagels and filled with much flavor. If plain bagels aren’t your thing, no need to worry since they offer many flavors such as garlic and pesto mozzarella. Just pick your favorite flavor, and enjoy.
The Table (Deland)
The Table is also located in the historic downtown of Deland, and it is not as casual as NY bagel. So, if you want to dress up and have brunch, then The Table is the perfect place for you. This location is similar to 240 Rose, food option wise. On the other hand, they offer more options and more ambiance. There is also a coffee shop connected to the restaurant that sells plants and more. It is a perfect place to go if you need to unwind and wander through a shop in the restaurant.
