In this episode, Kinga meets up with Dr. Treva Brown, who has a Ph.D. in chemistry and a history as a beauty pageant queen. Brown works at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory but despite spending some time on ships for work, seldom makes time to get out into the great outdoors.

Fishing with Sweet Catch Excursions

📍 Slidell, Louisiana.

With Sweet Catch Excursions, a company that puts together fishing outings designed for women, Brown learns to catch, clean, and cook her dinner. She successfully ensnares some Louisiana blue crabs with a crab trap and catches, filets and serves up a sailcat fish, all on her first fishing trip.
