Cierra Chenier is a contributing writer and creator born and raised in New Orleans. Driven by her love for her city and its people, she created NOIR ‘N NOLA, a brand highlighting the history, politics, lagniappe, and soul of Black New Orleans. With written works published locally and nationally, Chenier serves as a voice for the New Orleans community, increases social awareness, and encourages action through highlighting history and culture.
