A Mazada 626 car with a 2007 Louisiana brake tag and Mardi Gras beads coming from the trunk is removed from deep inside the Lafitte Canal that drains flood and other water from Mid-City including the Lafitte Greenway in New Orleans, La. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019. It is among the largest pieces to pulled from a New Orleans drainage canal by the Sewerage and Water Board.
