Fresh Fest 2020 – Tickets go on sale at midnight on Feb 1
Lock in your spot; the nation’s only beer festival to put people of color in the spotlight is back for year three. Fresh Fest 2020 will be on Aug 8 in Allentown.

For the third consecutive year, the city of Pittsburgh will host Fresh Fest: the country’s premier craft beer festival that celebrates black brewers and the accomplishments of people of color in the beer industry.
2018 marked the inaugural Fresh Fest beer festival; it was followed up with a (much larger) iteration in 2019. Both Fresh Fests took place at the same venue: Nova Place, in Pittsburgh’s northside.
For 2020, the Fresh Fest organizers have a new location picked and will be sharing more details around performing artists (at the fest) and one-off collaboration beers available exclusively at Fresh Fest.

2018: 1-day festival // 1200 attendees // 20 beer collaborations
2019: 3-day festival // ~2500 attendees // 50+ beer collaborations // Nappy Roots performance

Details about Ticket Sales
For Fresh Fest tickets, we recommend heading straight to the Fresh Fest website anytime AFTER midnight (12am) on Saturday, Feb 1. From there you can indicate your ticket tier.
In years past, Fresh Fest has offered three types of tickets:
- General Admission
- Early Admission
- Meet the Brewers VIP
Prices generally start around $45 for general admission and increase from there.
New Location: Allentown
Fresh Fest 2020 will take place in a “block party” format in the Allentown neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
Allentown – located in southern Pittsburgh – is home to some of our favorite (local) spots including Onion Maiden (vegan / heavy metal restaurant) and Black Forge Coffee House. Allentown’s hilltop is well-known for its central business district as well as the two main roads that merge here: Warrington Ave and Arlington Ave.
As of publication, Fresh Fest musical performances and guest brewer symposiums for the 2020 iteration are all TBA.
