You say you don’t step foot on the Westbank huh?
You think crossing the bridge is only what you do when you gotta hit up Hong Kong Food Market huh?
When you craving a cream slush from Sonic huh?
When you gotta go to the mall, but you ain’t about to drop Shops of Canal Place bags, huh?
When you wanna see Juvie for free huh?
Well, west we go. We’ll see you on the Westbank for the Westbank Heritage Festival featuring Juvenile himself, Partners-N-Crime, Raheem DeVaughn, Donnell Jones, Denisia and so many more. And it’s all free.

The festival takes place on Saturday, Oct. 13 and Sunday, Oct. 14 at the Alario Center in Westwego from 12-9 p.m. In addition to live musical performances, some of the best very local food vendors will be out there with dishes like chargrilled oysters, seafood stuffed potatoes, “ghetto burgers,” shrimp stew and ooey gooey cake.
While there’s always debate about whether the West Bank is the best bank, we bet this festival will undoubtedly score the West Bank some points.
