Mermaids are coming back to Audubon Aquarium

Grab your dinglehopper and your favorite human, because the Weeki Wachee Mermaids are swimming back to New Orleans.

by Mary Staes | October 18, 2018

Grab your dinglehopper and your favorite human, because the Wands & Wishes Mermaids are swimming to New Orleans.

During the daytime, they’ll appear over two weekends in tanks at the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Nov. 14-17 and 21-24.

This year, there’s an opportunity to get up close to a mermaid during breakfast on Nov. 16 and Nov. 23. The event will give exclusive acess to meet a mermaid up-close in the Gulf of Mexico habitat while dining on Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon and more. Guests can even get the opportunity to have a green screen photo taken upon entry (normally $10) and receive a second autographed photo of the mermaids.

 .

Tickets are $60 for Audubon members, and $65 for non-members. Click here for more details about the event.
