Delayed by a day due to windy conditions Thursday night, the krewes of Muses and Babylon took to the Uptown streets Friday afternoon.

The Krewe of Muses has been rolling since 2000, and its signature throw is a coveted shoe.

The Knights of Babylon were founded in 1939 led by their king, Sargon, who takes his title from the legendary Babylonian ruler.
