It was a lovely day as the Krewe of Cork stomped in the name of love on St. Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2020 in the French Quarter. Love and bubbles filled the air as the tiny bubbles of champagne filled the appetites of the walking krewe starting from the Court of Two Sisters on Royal Street. Patrick Van Hoorebeek again reigned as king for the 20th parade in 2020. Van Hoorebeek was joined by a host of queens including Margarita Bergen, and Charles Smith of Wines of Substance in Walla Walla, Washington, was the Grand Marshal. Here’s a toast to next year when the Krewe will be 21 and can legally drink in 2021.
