We counted 9 Pittsburgh-area breweries that celebrated grand openings during 2020. Here they are; plus two coming very soon in early 2021.

Whew! After a doozy of a 2020, we’re finally nearing the finish line. And — like many of our fellow media folks in town — It’s end-of-year recap time.

Coming Soon Breweries

Old Thunder Brewing: Get to know the guys behind Old Thunder Brewing in Blawnox. They have cans coming very soon and plan to open their taproom sometime in early 2021.

Necromancer Brewing: We chatted with head brewer Lauren Hughes about the upcoming Necromancer Brewing, which opens in March 2021 on Babcock Blvd, just north of Pittsburgh.
