If you have the means, it is more important than ever to support our local small businesses. Many vintage clothing dealers have used the stay at home order to revamp the way they sell their vintage garments and accessories online.

When we emerge from our homes, these vintage hustlers are some of the small businesses we want to see survive and continue to grow.



Vintage shoes are not always easy to find, but Cortney Tunstall of CornerNess gives us beautiful vintage shoes displayed in an elegant and eye-catching way. Her Instagram photos are ones I archive most often.

Streekers Vintage

Haus of Vain, founded by Jerome Roberts in 2013, is a concept streetwear brand and houses premium vintage pieces. The website is brilliantly categorized making shopping easy. There are even vintage collections including Black History Month and the 4/20 Drop.

Kula is a vintage and design boutique founded by Meridith Kula. Kula’s boutique and design studio is a ray of sun, and so is her Instagram. Her prints are exotic and tropical and just plain fun.

Anemoia (pronounced AH-UH-MOYA) Vintage is run by Made and Found Market creator, Jess Clowney. “Rare wares for maximalists” is how the shop is described, which means show-stopping pieces. Some garments are an investment, but they are an investment in quality that will last beyond one lifetime.
