Wednesday // May 1

DRINK – Runner of Steel Bourbon Release @ Wigle Whiskey

Wigle Whiskey has created a bourbon to celebrate all of the runners who are participating in the marathon. Celebrate the release of the Runner of Steel Bourbon with a party at Wigle Whiskey.

Thursday // May 2

PARKS – Northeast Fountain Grand Reopening @ Allegheny Commons Park

Celebrate the return of the historic fountain at the corner of Cedar Ave and East North Ave.

Friday // May 3

NEIGHBORHOOD – Garfield Night Market @ Unblurred on Penn Ave

This monthly night market returns for the warmer weather. Stop by the marketplace for food and shopping on the first Friday of every month.

Saturday // May 4

VINTAGE – Tollgate Revival Grand Re-opening @ Braddock

Vintage/antique shop Tollgate Revival has moved from Lawrenceville to Braddock. Stop by to shop the new location and ship some beers.


HIKE – South Side Urban Hike @ Big Dog Coffee

Free guided walk around the South Side Neighborhood.

Have pancakes and a milkshake for dinner to support the free lunch program at the library this summer

The much loved Lawrenceville brewery/restaurant is opening a new space in the Strip District.

FOOD – 58th Annual Greek Food Festival @ St. Nicholas Cathedral

This annual festival runs from May 5 until May 11. It is delicious and you will want to go more than once.

LEARN – Schell Games Spring Open House @ Schell Games

Learn more about how video games are developed here in Pittsburgh. Schell Games will be opening the doors of its Station Square offices for an informal open house.

BIRTHDAY – Bicentennial Community Celebration @ East Liberty Presbyterian Church
