BEER: 15 Years of East End Beers
As part of East End Brewing’s week-long 15-year anniversary party, the local trailblazing brewery is giving a collaborative hat-tip to the first 15 beer producers in Allegheny County. This week’s edition of ABV walks through East End’s 15-way tap takeover, cake cutting ceremony, Crafts & Drafts maker showcase and everything else happening at their Larimer brewpub from Dec 10-15.

PODCAST: Where the brewers drink in Pittsburgh
In Episode 06 of The Slaw: Staying on Top of Pittsburgh, we talk to Lauren Hughes, assistant head brewer at Penn Brewery, about women in brewing and which breweries she visits when she is not on the job.

GIFT IDEA: Just add ice
Take the stress out of holiday party prep. Boyd & Blair, a vodka distillery in Glenshaw, offers a line of pre-batched cocktails that come ready to serve. We were skeptical of a premade cocktail but these are surprisingly very good. You can pick up a bottle at any local liquor store.
