DOLLARS TO DONUTS: Speaking of the Pittsburgh Sandwich Society, Very Local is hosting our second installment of Sunny Side Up Brunch on Sunday, June 23. We’re headed back to Pittsburgh Sandwich Society’s side lot for a Sunday brunch party. Brunch eats from the food truck and beers from Grist House. Not only does Pittsburgh Sandwich Society make a great sandwich, but they make an awesome breakfast burrito and they take the breakfast sammie to the next level with a donut for a bun.
Purchase your tickets by Friday, and you’ll get a brunch item and a beer for just $10.
ELMO & THE COOKIE TABLE: For our latest Q&A, we caught up with Elmo when he was at the Science Center last week. Elmo has been teaching kids ABCs for years; we brought the flashcards to teach him some PGH.
BEER @ BIERS: This week we are drinking beer from War Streets Brewing, which happens to be located at Bier’s Pub.
