Whew! We made it past New Year’s Day and the start of Carnival last week! But there’s no time to waste, because Sunday is the game we’ve been waiting for, when the Saints (hopefully) blow out the Eagles again!
This week’s picks include remembering history with the Battle of New Orleans and gearing up to make history again with the Saints!
Friday
What: Saints Black and Gold Friday at Hancock Whitney Center
Where: Hancock Whitney Center, 701 Poydras Street, 12 – 1 p.m.
Price: Free
Music and light refreshments will be served at this CBD lunch-hour party. Former Saints player Roman Harper will be there, mascot Sir Saint, and the Saintsations. There’s also giveaways for field passes and tickets for Sunday’s game! Click here for more information.

What: Battle of New Orleans reenactment
Where: 8201 W Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette, La. 70043

The popular reenactment, usually held at the Chalmette Battlefield, is moving to the St. Bernard Parish Government Building due to the most recent government shutdown. Click here for more information.
