Saturday is National Thrift Store Day, we checked in with a few Pittsburghers who share their thrift scores on Instagram about their favorite Pittsburgh thrift stores. Looking to celebrate Thrift Store Day? Head over to Thriftique on Saturday for deals and surprises. If you are looking for antiques, Sunday is the monthly Flea-tique at the Tour-Ed mines in Tarentum, PA.

WATCH our latest video. Meet the Puppetry Guild of Pittsburgh and learn more about the community of puppeteers. Want to learn more? The Puppetry Guild is hosting their summer puppetry slam this Saturday.

VISIT a hidden local museum: You probably know about the Duquesne Incline, but have you made a visit to the Duquesne Incline Museum? This working museum is located under the upper station and admission is only $0.50.

DRINK a very local beer. Our beer pick of the week is the latest neighborhood beer from East End Brewing. Learn more about “You Are Here: East Liberty” in our latest beer recap.

RSVP for brunch. Tickets are now available for our next Sunny Side Up Brunch with Pittsburgh Sandwich Society on Sunday, August 25.

ICYMI Fresh Fest. Fresh Fest, America’s first festival that celebrates Black brewers and Black-owned breweries was held in Pittsburgh last week. We’ve got an interview with the founders, Day Bracey & Mike Potter, about the origins of the festival.
